CONGRATULATIONS to Andy Mills as he paddles into his next chapter!

Under Andy’s leadership, The Food Sharing Project has grown into so much MORE than it was seven years ago.

More food, more staff, more vans, more deliveries, more systems, and yes—more banana boxes! Most importantly, far more students and families receiving the support they need.

Guided by both a passion for ending hunger at school and a talent for spreadsheets, Andy brought a thoughtful, analytical approach to managing rapid growth. His leadership carried the organization through the pandemic and into a new era defined by the relentless need for school food. He built a strong, cohesive staff team and cultivated deep partnerships across KFL&A, always finding ways to do more with less.

The Board of Directors extends its sincere gratitude for Andy’s remarkable service and wishes him a healthy, joyful retirement.
